I started playing golf when I was 10 years old. I grew up playing a lot of ice hockey and needed a summer hobby. My hockey friends got me into golf.
Winning the 2021 EDGA match play, on Fathers Day, has to be my biggest accomplishment. I've also been fortunate to play competitive tournament rounds of golf with now PGA Tour Pros, Jason Kokrak, he played at Xavier when I played at Duquesne, both in the A10, and we grew up playing the Cleveland Plain Dealer tour. Luke List at the 2003 McDonald's High School All-American Tournament. Kyle Reifers at the USGA Amateur qualifier at Kahkwa. Also in 2001 I won a contest with Buick and won a trip to Las Vegas where I got to meet Tiger Woods and took a lesson with Butch Harmon.
Lowest Score: 64 at Lawrence Park and Crab Apple Ridge.
Best Round: 71 at Pebble Beach
Away from the course I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My Wife Amy and I have three kids, Gia (8), Anna (4) and Jake (1). Never a dull moment around our house! I also enjoy spending time outside and playing ice hockey.
I love the game of golf and everything it stands for and teaches. Golf is a lot like life, it's not always fair. Golf has given me so much over the years and I hope to pay it forward for someone else to experience everything the game can offer. Oh, and the swag is awesome!
