Play with people who are better than you. You play to the level of those around you!
There would be no such thing as a good round without a bad round. The best players in the world have bad days- learn from them!
Keep a golf journal. Include swing thoughts and drills so that you can refer back them when something feels off.
Set challenging goals for yourself so that you have something to work towards in your practice. If you reach all of your goals, you didn’t push yourself enough!
Be intentional with your practice - 5 minutes of focused practice is more beneficial than 30 minutes.
Play in tournaments! Competitive rounds are valuable.
Winning is not always a measure of your success! Golf is a game where you play against yourself and par.
Above all - HAVE FUN! I don’t like to say golf is “just a game” because it is so meaningful to me, but, we should never lose sight of the fact that golf is something we do because we enjoy it.
